Valentine's Day 2012!

Hi Guys...we had a great Valentine's Day at home. We were gonna go out to dinner but we decided to stay in and avoid the HUGE crowds. So I made us dinner and some chocolate covered strawberries. We had some extra chocolate left so I dipped banana pieces in it....they were really great! Hope you guys enjoy the pics. Talk to you later :D

I got Dudy a Valentine's card and a small heart of chocolates.... :D

Time to start the Strawberries.....You can use whatever chocolate you want. I used milk chocolate chips.
To create a "double boiler" get a small pot and a bowl that is a little smaller that it fits inside without falling down to the bottom.

Put a little water in the pot and boil heat it on med-low heat. Add the bowl on top with the chocolate and stir.

Just starting to melt....keep stirring....don't leave unattended.

Mmmmmmm...Looking good!

All melted...now time to dip!

Take the strawberries by the green leafy part and hold it tight to dip the tips in the warm chocolate.

Put the dipped strawberries on a cookie sheet lined with tin foil or wax paper.

All done dipping....they look good don't they :D

Now put them in the fridge to let the chocolate harden back up.

Do the same with anything else that you want to dip....we did banana's on toothpicks....Mmmm, Mmmm Good!

I added some frozen strawberries to my drink to go with all the red : )

Cooking my steak up....I browned them on the stove top and then finished them off in the broiler...Delish!!

Now it is time to eat....I made some Spinach Fettuccine pasta on the side with Alfredo Sauce and veggies.
